The European
Researchers' Night is a science outreach project promoted by the European
Commission as part of the Marie Sktodowska-Curie actions of the Horizon 2020
programme, and has been taking place simultaneously in more than 300 European
cities since 2005. Its main objective is to bring researchers closer to
citizens so that they can learn about their work, the benefits they bring to
society and their impact on everyday life.
