Modelling the deadly noble pen shell (Pinna nobilis) epidemic


A model designed by researchers from IFISC (UIB-CSIC), in collaboration with IMEDEA (UIB-CSIC), LIMIA (IRFAP) and INAGEA, develops an epidemiological model to comprehend marine epizooticsIn a new article written by IFISC and the University of Buenos Aires, the researchers analyse the spatial effects of this type of epidemic affecting immobile hosts.
