In this presentation, after a small technical introduction of the family of quantum Fisher information, I'll discuss a fact that was overseen in the literature, namely the inherently dynamical nature of Fisher information. This will be exemplified with three examples: first, the equivalence between positivity of a map and the contraction of Fisher information; second, the possibility of defining Markovianity (CP-divisibility) in the same manner; and finally, the definition of detailed balance as self-adjointness with respect to the Fisher information metric.

The reference for the Markovianity part is:
https://arxiv.org/pdf/2204.04072.pdf
Url event:https://ifisc.uib-csic.es/en/events/seminars/quantum-fisher-information-and-...
